Canny alternative

As many customers as you like. Same price.

pealHQ brings together a feedback portal, a public roadmap, a changelog and a Linear integration. The price depends on the plan you choose, never on how many customers vote or comment.

pealHQ or Canny?

pealHQ

Choose pealHQ if you are a B2B product team that wants a feedback portal, a public roadmap and a changelog connected to Linear, at a price you know in advance. The number of customers who vote does not change your plan, and both the product and the team are French-first.

Canny

Canny is a better fit if you want AI to capture feedback automatically from support conversations and sales calls (Autopilot), or if you need many integrations: Jira, ClickUp, Asana, GitHub, Zendesk, HubSpot, Salesforce… Around since 2017, Canny also offers enterprise SSO for your team (Okta, Entra ID) and SOC 2 compliance on its paid plans.

Why pealHQ

What changes with pealHQ.

A price that doesn’t follow your voters

End users are unlimited on every plan, including the free one. Opening the portal to all your customers never moves you to another plan.

Linear, both ways

Create or link an issue from triage. Statuses sync both ways through your mapping, and a completed issue prepares a changelog draft (Pro plan).

French-first

The product and the team are French-first, and so are the docs. The portal, the emails and the widget speak French or English, depending on your workspace language.

From vote to announcement

The portal collects requests, the public roadmap follows your statuses, the changelog announces what shipped. Voters are notified at every status change.

Moving from Canny to pealHQ.

Bring your history over from a CSV file: requests, customers, comments and votes. Every import starts with a preview, and running it again creates no duplicates.

  • CSV import of requests, customers, comments and votes, with a preview before you confirm.
  • No duplicates on re-import: fix your file and run the import again as often as you need.
  • Assisted migration on request: write to thomas@pealhq.com.
  • “We migrated more than 300 pieces of user feedback and more than 160 customers from Supahub.”Thomas Ledesert, founder of weqeep and pealHQ

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us.

Is pealHQ a free Canny alternative?

Yes. The free plan has no time limit, with unlimited end users and 1 admin. When you sign up, you get the Pro plan free for 14 days, no credit card; after that you stay on the free plan unless you pick a paid one.

Does the price go up with the number of customers who vote?

No. pealHQ never charges per end user or per voter. The price depends only on the plan: €15/month excl. VAT billed annually for the first paid plan, or €19 billed monthly.

Does pealHQ integrate with Linear?

Yes. From triage, you create a Linear issue or link an existing one. Statuses sync both ways through a mapping you configure, conflicts are sent to you for review, and a completed issue prepares a changelog draft. The integration is included from the Pro plan.

Can I bring my Canny data?

Yes, with a CSV import: requests, customers, comments and votes, with a preview before you confirm and no duplicates when you import again. For an assisted migration, write to thomas@pealhq.com.

What does Canny offer that pealHQ doesn’t?

pealHQ does not capture feedback from your support tools or calls, has no AI features and only integrates with Linear today; Jira and GitHub are coming soon. If those matter most to you, Canny covers them.
